This painting shows an agave painted over the word “Unmovable”. The agave stands grounded, symbolizing the presence of cacti that exist exactly where they belong — whether by choice or circumstance.

It’s a metaphor for both immigrants and citizens navigating identity and belonging. Regardless of how someone looks or where others assume they’re from, they’re rooted in their lives and communities. Their presence is real and valid.
